Job summary

Deel is hiring an Operational Intelligence & Automation Manager in the United States. You will design and own production infrastructures for AI agents, build risk dashboards, and lead cross‑functional initiatives spanning Product, Engineering, Operations and Compliance.

You’ll mentor analysts, drive automation, and deliver scalable, data‑driven risk insights to executive leadership. You’ll collaborate with global teams, manage complex projects end‑to‑end, and implement robust risk practices

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, technical program management, or similar high‑impact environments
• Demonstrated success in designing, building, and implementing technical systems, workflows, or automation solutions
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to manipulate, visualize, and derive insights from large datasets
• Proficiency in at least two of: agent platforms, data visualization tools, SQL, automation platforms, or scripting
• Excellent project management skills with track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives to successful completion
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems and drive results independently
• Curious by nature and passionate about operational excellence

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement operational risk workflows, automations, and technical systems to scale globally
• Build and improve risk dashboards and data visualizations for executive decision making
• Develop automation solutions using tools like Zapier, Slack Workflow Builder, AKAI, APIs and internal systems
• Maintain and optimize the current operational risk infrastructure for reliability and performance
• Create scalable data pipelines and reporting frameworks for real‑time risk visibility
• Analyze large datasets to identify risk patterns and improvement opportunities
• Translate risk data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership
• Lead end‑to‑end strategic projects spanning multiple functions to improve risk
• Manage cross‑functional initiatives from scoping to implementation and on‑time delivery
• Drive process optimization while maintaining risk controls
• Collaborate with global teams to implement consistent risk practices
• Support strategic planning and performance tracking for risk initiatives
• Lead incident response coordination and improve event management processes
• Mentor ORM analysts in building automation solutions and best practices
• Guide analysts in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
