Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Business Operations Manager for International Services to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across its international portfolio (Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Kenya) and the National Headquarters. The role ensures efficient planning, coordination, and execution of operations while aligning with program goals and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to supervise team across global time zones with occasional evening/early morning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and background on organization policies related to ISD planning, organization and operations.
• Develop and clarify policies, procedures, and operating doctrines; document via SOPs and communicate standards across the department.
• Coordinate with Corporate and Enterprise functions to ensure efficiency; oversee HR, international shipping, logistics, contracts, and budgets.
• Oversee end-to-end workforce administration for Third Country Nationals, Delegates, and In-Country Nationals; manage secondment tracking.
• Conduct quarterly assessments and field visits; develop action plans to strengthen operations.
• Lead financial and operational analysis including budget preparation and reporting for senior management.
• Drive Project Management and Continuous Improvement for ISD and SAF teams; mobilize volunteers.
• Oversee procurement, international response equipment, travel, and contracts; ensure policy compliance.
