Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a seasoned Global Operations Leader to oversee operations, supply chain, quality, planning, and NPI across the Defense Electronics segment. The role emphasizes building a high‑performing, global operations team, driving compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 and ITAR, and delivering complex aerospace systems on schedule.

You will guide strategy, risk management, and cross‑functional collaboration with R&D, engineering, and contracts to ensure successful program

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global operations within Aerospace & Defense.
Understanding of defense acquisition frameworks and export compliance (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
Proven track record in managing complex supply chains, regulated production environments, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
Experience in ERP and business systems integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint, Teamcenter).

Responsibilities

Build and lead a high-performing global operations team in a matrix structure.
Lead global production, logistics, and facility operations to deliver complex systems on time and within budget.
Drive operational strategies aligned with program execution and customer requirements, including government contracts.
Champion a culture of integrity, safety, compliance, and innovation.
Direct global supply chain activities including strategic sourcing and supplier risk management.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships focusing on long-term partnerships and cost containment.
Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR, and DFARS; lead quality management systems.
Embed Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
Develop scalable manufacturing strategies to support rapid ramp-up of new products.
Partner with R&D, engineering, and regional teams for seamless product transitions.
Manage risk assessment and mitigation for NPI, including capacity and quality controls.
Collaborate with engineering, program management, contracts, and finance to align capabilities with needs.
