Job summary

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) Global is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to grow and manage the oceanfreight forwarding business. You will coordinate all ocean shipments from booking through delivery, ensuring timely, efficient service and strong customer experiences.

You'll work with carriers, vendors and partners, prepare documents, monitor shipments, and maintain accurate records while meeting internal KPIs and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in ocean operations in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight documentation, INCO terms and international trade practices.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of ocean shipments from booking through delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors and service providers to arrange shipment details.
• Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, declarations, origin certificates).
• Ensure proper clearance and resolve compliance issues as needed.
• Coordinate with overseas partners for destination clearance.
• Track shipments and provide progress updates.
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records using systems and software.
• Adhere to KPIs and deliver compliant audits.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
