Job summary

The International Logistics Coordinator role at TQL Global is based in Lombard, IL. You will manage ocean shipments end-to-end, coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

You will track shipments, review bills of lading and customs paperwork, resolve issues, and strive to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining regulatory compliance and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
• 3-5 years of ocean operations experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proficiency with freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of ocean shipments from booking through delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and service providers to arrange shipment details.
• Prepare and review shipping documents (bills of lading, declarations, certificates).
• Ensure proper clearance of shipments and resolve compliance issues.
• Coordinate with overseas partners for destination clearance and delivery.
• Track and monitor shipment status and update clients on progress.
• Provide internal support and address client inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation in systems.
