Job summary

Syniverse Technologies LLC is seeking a Network Director to lead the strategic direction and operations of our global network backbone and customer interfaces. You will guide architecture, engineering, and incident response across a team of managers, engineers, and architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance networks.

The role requires a track record in network engineering with leadership experience, collaboration with executives, and a drive for engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years in network engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing managers and complex vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute network strategies aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to plan for growth and capacity.
• Establish and enforce network standards, design principles, and change control.
• Lead operational discipline with runbooks, post-incident reviews, and AI/automation.
• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of the internal and customer networks.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services.
• Analyze usage and optimize network resources to reduce costs.
• Negotiate contracts and SLAs with vendors and OEM partners.
• Develop and manage the network budget and expenditures.
• Mentor a team of network managers, engineers, and architects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
