Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or the equivalent of a four-year accredited degree in a technical discipline.
15+ years of experience designing solutions within IP networks or 20+ years with IP networks and data center strategies.
10+ years with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP) and SD-WAN.
10+ years with Layer 2 protocols and data center fabrics.
10+ years of WAN/LAN and transport technologies, including Ethernet, MPLS, DWDM, and Fabric.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement Northern Trust's global network, including applications and services.
Lead and mentor engineering teams in design, support, and deployment.
Collaborate with operations to improve availability and efficiency.
Evaluate tools, techniques, and technologies to reduce cost and modernize delivery.
Serve as escalation point for network issues and guide cross-functional teams.
