Job summary

Syniverse is seeking a Network Director to lead strategy, architecture and operations of its global network backbone. You will drive scalable, secure infrastructure and mentor managers, engineers and architects to engineering excellence.

You will set standards, oversee deployment and ensure high availability, performance and cost efficiency while aligning with business growth and regulatory requirements. Hybrid/remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years in network engineering, with 3–5 years in people management or senior leadership.
• Prior or current certification in CCIE/CCNA/JNCIA/JNCIE/JNCIP or JNCIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute network strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead a team of Network Managers, engineers and architects.
• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, performance and security of network services.
• Negotiate contracts and SLAs with vendors and technology partners.
• Develop and manage the network budget and drive cost savings.
