Job summary

Global Enterprise Infrastructure Consulting seeks a Principal Network Architect to lead complex infrastructure programs for large, global customers. You will define strategy, guide architecture, and stay close to technology to deliver solutions across data center, campus, WAN, cloud, and security domains.

The role emphasizes leadership, client-facing engagement, and cross-region collaboration with senior teams, while mentoring engineers and driving modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise networking and architecture experience.
• Deep technical expertise designing large-scale, complex enterprise networks.
• Experience with global or multinational customers and distributed infrastructure environments.
• Consulting, VAR, systems integrator, or professional services experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead architecture, design, and technical strategy discussions with sophisticated enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of data center, campus, WAN, cloud connectivity, and network security architectures.
• Experience developing network architectures and standards across multiple locations and regions.
• Ability to communicate with engineers, IT leadership, and executive stakeholders.
• Active CCIE strongly preferred, CCDE and plus.
• Experience mentoring engineers and serving as a senior technical leader.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design complex enterprise network infrastructure across campus, branch, WAN, cloud, and data center environments.
• Lead architecture and technical strategy for large, geographically distributed and global enterprise customers.
• Design scalable network solutions and standards deployed across regions and locations.
• Lead complex network migration, transformation, and modernization initiatives.
• Work with customer engineering teams, architects, IT leadership, and executives.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical planning.
• Translate business requirements into scalable infrastructure designs.
• Develop customer-facing documentation including HLDs/LLDs, implementation plans, migration strategies, and runbooks.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle from discovery to knowledge transfer.
• Troubleshoot and provide escalation support for complex challenges.
• Coordinate technical delivery across teams, locations, and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and act as a senior technical resource.
