Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is hiring a Network Deploy Technician to scale and support data-center networks.

You will work with minimal supervision to drive network stability, automate and scale deployment practices, and collaborate with engineering, project managers, and vendors. The role focuses on supporting large-scale enterprise networks, configuring new hardware, and ensuring smooth migrations while adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (HTTP(S), DNS, TCP/IP).
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
