Job summary

Airalo, the world's first eSIM store, is hiring a Solution Architect to lead localization and integration of our Global MVNO Core. You will bridge regulatory needs with engineering, ensuring regional mandates and interconnectivity are met.

You will mentor teams, translate findings into actionable tasks, and define acceptance criteria for country-specific delivery. This remote role welcomes Europe-based candidates with transparent salary bands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, preferably Telecom/Tech.
• Ability to translate regulatory documents into engineering tasks.
• Comfortable discussing SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases with engineers.
• Strong skills in writing User Stories and Functional Specs.
• Experience with international roaming and interconnectivity.

Responsibilities

• Act as conduit between regulatory findings and Core Network team.
• Lead requirement discovery workshops with MNOs, regulators and internal teams.
• Identify enhancements and trade-offs with Core Engineers.
• Create high-level workflows for regulatory services (MNP, LI).
• Define data exchange requirements for Number Portability and voice/SMS routing.
• Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios for country-specific delivery.
• Manage the technical-regulatory checklist across countries.
• Coordinate with databases and partners for interworking specs.
• Mentor Solution Analysts on best practices and traceability.
• Provide leadership to balance compliance, scalability and maintainability.
