Job summary

VARITE is seeking a Global Mobility Manager for a 14-month remote assignment. You will manage all aspects of candidate and employee relocation across the Americas, delivering exceptional relocation experiences.

The role requires 5+ years in global mobility, deep knowledge of tax, immigration, and real estate processes, and collaboration with immigration firms, HR partners, and vendors to ensure compliant programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Global Mobility experience with a focus on the Americas.
• Familiarity with US residential real estate purchase processes; Buyer Value Option a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of mobility processes including tax, immigration, payroll, home sale/purchase in the Americas.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to translate mobility concepts clearly.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, global team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide relocation management across the Americas for US relocation cases.
• Act as single point of contact to employees throughout the mobility process.
• Explain tax and immigration factors and offer practical relocation solutions.
• Support immigration case life-cycle management with our immigration firm and internal stakeholders.
• Guide HR and hiring teams to interpret policy and options.
• Coordinate with vendors, monitor performance and ensure compliance with policy and laws.
• Assist with special mobility projects as needed.

Location: 100% Remote

Contract Duration: 14 months with possible extension

Pay Rate Range: $58.00 - $64.93/hr. on W2

About the Role

• The Global Mobility Manager manages all aspects of candidate and employee relocation both domestic and permanent moves within the Americas.
• Anticipating employee needs and dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience, the Mobility Manager will take initiative to solve problems independently, exercising discretion within guidelines and evolving industry standards.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and manage day-to-day US relocation cases in partnership with Relocation Management Company on mobility within the Americas
• Act as a single point of contact to employees throughout the mobility process
• Articulate complex relocation scenarios including tax and immigration factors and provide practical, simplified solutions for the employee and/or business
• In partnership with our immigration firm, support immigration case life-cycle management for foreign national employees. This includes working closely with foreign national candidates, employees, and internal stakeholders to provide guidance, support escalations and day to day program management support.
• Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to interpret policy, provide options and recommend solutions
• Partner with global and local vendors, monitor performance and ensure compliance with *** policy and local laws and regulations
• Assist with special projects as needed

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Global Mobility experience with a focus on the Americas
• Familiarity with US residential real estate purchase process; knowledge of Buyer Value Option transactions a plus
• In depth knowledge of mobility processes including tax services, immigration, payroll, home sale, home purchase in the Americas regions
• Excellent learning agility and emotional intelligence, able to be empathetic to situations you may have never directly experienced
• Exceptional communication skills and an above average ability to translate mobility concepts to others, with impeccable customer service skills, positive attitude in challenging situations
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and multi-task in a high paced environment
• Demonstrated experience working on a global team
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in situations involving change, shifting priorities and ambiguity
