Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Global Mobility Immigration Manager to lead the U.S. immigration program, ensuring compliance and coordinating with external providers and internal stakeholders.

You will drive process improvements, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to deliver a premium employee experience for a diverse workforce in a dynamic global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant credentials.
• 6+ years’ US immigration experience with program management.
• Experience running a large, compliant US immigration program.
• Ability to prioritize daily workload across initiatives.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Project management and LEAN methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Airbus’ U.S. immigration program, including case initiations, expirations, renewals and PERM processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to provide central case management and legal guidance.
• Maintain detailed case records and generate reports to track program performance.
• Educate GM team members and HRBPs on immigration policies and processes.
• Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to discuss sponsorship implications and timelines.
