Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a US Immigration Specialist to own service delivery and compliance for the United States.

You will partner with global and US stakeholders to lead immigration programs, ensuring regulatory alignment and a strong employee experience. You will manage external vendors, contribute to strategic mobility initiatives, and drive improvements across processes, milestones, and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of US global mobility experience.
• Deep expertise in US employment-based immigration (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, F-1 OPT, etc.).
• Experience managing external vendors within a large-scale mobility program.
• Experience in an in-house corporate environment across immigration, relocation, and tax is a plus.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of mobility tax and relocation program design.
• Experience designing or evolving mobility and immigration programs.

Responsibilities

• Tailor US immigration offerings to the specific talent needs of the US business, addressing regional nuances.
• Build relationships with US-based stakeholders to position GRI immigration services as a key enabler.
• Monitor US regulatory landscape and analyze impacts of changes; design mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliant implementation of US immigration policies while driving efficiency and employee experience.
• Lead US-based projects like entity set-up, M&A, and restructures; manage vendor relationships.
• Serve as escalation point for complex cases and identify scalable solutions.
• Contribute to global GRI projects and evolution of mobility services.
• Deliver stakeholder education through training and resources to increase program awareness.
