Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an Immigration & Global Mobility Leader to drive the development, implementation, and administration of cross-border immigration programs. You will guide visa policy, sponsor processes and collaborate with Legal, Tax and Talent Acquisition to stay compliant and efficient.

The role focuses on managing PERM, I-140, green card workflows, and cost-effective mobility solutions while counseling executives on strategy and travel implications.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex international visa sponsorship and compliance.
• Ability to communicate with senior leaders and business teams.
• Experience with PERM, I-140, and Green Card processes.
• Experience managing vendor relationships for immigration, compliance and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert for immigration laws related to employment and work visas.
• Collaborate with external counsel, relocation management, Talent Acquisition and Legal to ensure policy compliance.
• Lead PERM, I-140, and Green Card processes and provide data-driven insights.
• Explain lifecycle of sponsorships to stakeholders from hire to green card.
• Manage immigration cases for travel and sponsorship through to completion.
• Develop and implement sponsorship processes for visas, passports and work permits.
• Escalate issues requiring legal review and coordinate with Legal on RFEs.
