Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Category Manager for Global Procurement Operations (GPO) in the United States. The role focuses on MHE lifecycle services, including end-of-life programs, spare parts, hotline, and aftersales support, servicing internal customers in Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) across regions worldwide.

The candidate will drive supplier negotiations, optimize cost of ownership, and manage supplier performance while collaborating with internal stakeholders and program teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional sourcing teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize cost and value.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of MHE lifecycle projects including spare parts, hotline, and maintenance services.
• Prepare reporting and dashboards for category KPIs and supplier performance.
