Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Category Manager within Global Procurement Organization to manage MHE lifecycle services across regions worldwide, including spare parts, hotline and maintenance. The role focuses on sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations and cost optimization with a global spend of $90-120M.

You will collaborate with RME and field teams, lead procurement activities, and develop AI tools to improve efficiency. The position requires strong PM experience and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional sourcing teams and negotiate contracts to optimize Amazon’s position.
• Drive relationships with category suppliers to achieve optimal cost of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier performance and SLA compliance across the MHE lifecycle portfolio.
• Analyze spend data and prepare cost reduction business cases for leadership review.
• Coordinate with RME Field & RVM teams on daily requests, escalations and ticket resolution.
• Support contract negotiations and renewals for assigned suppliers.
