Job summary

Amazon’s Global Procurement Organization seeks a Senior Category Manager for the MHE Components team, spanning supplier development and Ring’s Smart TDR and PERCH programs. You will drive end-to-end sourcing, negotiate contracts, and partner with cross-functional teams to align with deployment roadmaps.

The role requires 5+ years in supplier strategy, strong data-driven decision skills, and the ability to influence across organizations while delivering cost savings and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing sourcing activities.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, develop, and manage key MHE component suppliers in partnership with Worldwide and Regional Procurement teams.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to reduce cost, compress project lifecycles, and improve capital efficiencies.
• Drive supplier continuous improvement, global supplier metrics, and Cost Out programs to optimize CapEx spend.
• Support global supplier selection, development, and expansion of the supplier base.
• Lead sourcing for Smart TDR retrofit and greenfield installations: installer development, selection, RFP execution, and contracting for 2027/2028 deployment cycles.
• Ensure installer capacity and continuity of supply across multi-site deployment schedules.
• Fulfill sourcing for Ring's PERCH program, addressing broader hardware sourcing needs with GPO best practices.
• Develop supplier strategies for novel technology categories, including LCC supplier identification and qualification.
• Serve as the primary GPO sourcing interface within Ring's program structure; align sourcing strategies with deployment roadmaps.
• Leverage GPO supplier networks, negotiation frameworks, and sourcing methodologies to deliver commercial outcomes for Ring.
• Lead special projects to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and accelerate program delivery.
• Communicate strategy, execution status, and results to senior leadership across GPO and Ring.
