Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Category Manager for the Global MHE Components team within GPO. You will qualify, develop, and manage key MHE suppliers and serve as the dedicated sourcing partner for Ring’s Smart TDR and PERCH programs, spanning 2027/2028 deployment cycles.

You will interface with cross-functional teams, lead strategic supplier initiatives, and drive cost-out programs while aligning with GPO standards and deployment roadmaps across Ring projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• 5 years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 2 years of driving process improvements experience.
• Experience with installer/contractor sourcing and management for multi-site deployment programs.
• Familiarity with Low-Cost Country (LCC) sourcing strategies and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, develop, and manage key MHE component suppliers in partnership with Worldwide and Regional Procurement teams.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to reduce cost, compress project lifecycles, and improve capital efficiencies.
• Drive supplier continuous improvement, global supplier metrics, and Cost Out programs to optimize CapEx spend.
• Support global supplier selection, development, and managed expansion of the supplier base.
• Lead sourcing for Smart TDR retrofit and greenfield installations: installer development, selection, RFP execution, and contracting for 2027/2028 deployment cycles.
• Ensure installer capacity and continuity of supply across multi-site deployment schedules.
