Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Category Manager within the Global Procurement Organization to lead MHE components sourcing and to serve as the strategic partner for Ring's Smart TDR installation and PERCH programs.

The role requires deep experience in supplier development, contract manufacturing, and end-to-end procurement leadership, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across GPO and Ring teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• Experience with installer/contractor sourcing and management for multi-site deployment programs.
• Familiarity with Low-Cost Country (LCC) sourcing strategies and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• MHE Components Sourcing: Qualify, develop, and manage key MHE component suppliers in partnership with Worldwide and Regional Procurement teams.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to reduce cost, compress project lifecycles, and improve capital efficiencies.
• Drive supplier continuous improvement, global supplier metrics, and Cost Out programs to optimize CapEx spend.
• Support global supplier selection, development, and managed expansion of the supplier base.
• Lead sourcing for Smart TDR retrofit and greenfield installations: installer development, selection, RFP execution, and contracting for 2027/2028 deployment cycles.
