Job summary

Stealth Startup is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive direct merchant acquisition and revenue growth across international regions. You will identify, pitch, and close merchants with cross-border payment needs in ecommerce, gaming, fintech, and related sectors.

You will lead the full sales cycle from outreach to onboarding, building a strong pipeline and expanding payment method coverage. A hunter mindset and deep payments knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development or merchant sales within payments or fintech.
• Proven track record of direct merchant acquisition.
• Strong network among online merchants and cross-border businesses.
• Experience selling payment solutions including cards, local methods, or stablecoin settlement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire direct merchants needing payment acceptance and cross-border solutions.
• Build and manage pipeline across EU, LATAM, Africa, and APAC.
• Manage full sales cycle from outreach to onboarding and go-live.
• Develop tailored payment propositions and settlement options.
• Drive merchant signings, transaction growth, and revenue.
• Collaborate with product/compliance/ops to ensure onboarding and launch.
• Gather market intel to sharpen sales conversations.
