Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a seasoned lawyer with strong Corporate/M&A experience to provide practical, business-minded legal guidance on major transactions across the company’s global operations.

The role requires managing end-to-end deals, drafting and negotiating key documents, and coordinating with Corporate Development, Finance, and other teams to drive successful outcomes while maintaining prudent spend and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience as a lawyer with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice.
• Must have graduated from an accredited law school and be admitted to the state bar.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, business-oriented legal counsel on significant corporate/M&A matters across Cencora’s global organization.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A transactions from inception through closing and post-closing integration.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs/term sheets, definitive transaction documents and ancillary papers.
• Lead and coordinate legal due diligence and translate findings into tailored protections.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development and Strategy throughout the deal lifecycle and with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, HR, IT and other Legal teams.
