Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manager of Logistics to own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of inbound logistics, fulfillment networks, and global transportation. You will drive KPI methodologies, carrier partnerships, and network expansions to support freight, e-commerce, and industrial projects.

Lead cost optimization, network redesign, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or engineering.
• 5+ years KPI frameworks and carrier performance management.
• 5+ years leading sourcing strategy and carrier negotiations.
• 5+ years of people management in logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and evolve enterprise-wide logistics strategies and programs for inbound logistics, fulfillment networks, and end-to-end transportation.
• Establish and manage carrier performance frameworks with KPIs, scorecards, and real-time reporting.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFPs, contract negotiations, rate optimization, and performance governance.
• Drive global expansion and optimization of logistics networks for freight, e-commerce, and industrial projects.
• Redesign transportation and network architecture to reduce lead times and improve service levels.
• Define and monitor KPIs and executive dashboards for network health and carrier performance.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities across internal and external logistics spend.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, and Engineering to align logistics with business goals.
• Coordinate with Global Compliance, Customs, Tax, Finance, and Supply Chain on regulatory and trade requirements.
• Develop best practices for internal logistics operations and material handling.
• Prepare and manage the annual logistics budget with forecasts and variance analysis.
• Serve as escalation point for complex logistics issues and drive corrective actions.
