We have a current opening for a Global Logistics Specialist on our Supply Chain team in our Chamblee, GA, location. The starting salary for this role is expected to be between $52,000 and $60,000 per year. Accent Decor is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist who will play a key role in managing both domestic and international logistics operations. This role will support the seamless flow of goods from international suppliers to our distribution centers, as well as the timely delivery of customer orders across various B2B and B2C channels. This position will strive to optimize Accent Decor’s logistics network and own functions such as ERP, TMS, and shipping platform administration as well as managing shipment exceptions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We’d love to hear from you if you are adaptable, innovative, and your skill set includes:

• Coordinating inbound ocean container shipments from global suppliers
• Monitoring vessel ETAs, customs clearance, and drayage to ensure timely delivery
• Communicating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to resolve delays or documentation issues
• Entering shipment and supplier information into the ERP system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
• Supporting daily outbound shipping operations for B2B and D2C customer orders
• Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries with carriers and warehouse partners
• Handling shipping exceptions, damaged freight claims, and delivery delays with a proactive, customer-centric approach
• Monitoring carrier performance, report on service levels, and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Maintaining accurate ERP records for shipments, freight charges, and delivery statuses
• Supporting freight invoice auditing and reconciliation as needed
• Assisting in maintaining SOPs and documentation for logistics processes
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Service, Sales, Sourcing, and Operations teams
• Performing other duties as assigned
  
  

You’ll stand out from other applicants if you can show:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation (international and/or domestic)
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.), TMS, WMS, ERP, logistics software
• Experience working with international freight forwarders, customs processes, and domestic carriers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with having a detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
