Job summary

Saia is seeking a Global Logistics leader to drive profitable growth and expand international air/ocean freight solutions. You will partner with the Saia sales organization and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design value-based transportation solutions, and expand pipeline across global trade lanes.

You will serve as a subject matter expert, support strategic sales calls, and guide pricing discussions while aligning offerings with customer needs and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, international business, supply chain, transportation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in international freight forwarding, global logistics, international transportation, sales, business development, or solution development.
• Strong knowledge of international air and ocean transportation, including service options and carrier networks.
• Experience developing customer solutions and growing revenue in international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the Saia sales organization to identify, develop, and close new Global Logistics business opportunities.
• Serves as the Global Logistics product and subject matter expert across customer and sales lifecycle.
• Develops growth strategies focused on target customers, industries, and global trade lanes.
• Supports customer discovery, strategic sales calls, solution presentations, and pricing discussions.
• Identifies opportunities within existing Saia relationships to expand logistics revenue.
• Collaborates on solution design, routing, pricing, and service levels.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, international carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Uses Salesforce, Power BI, and reporting tools to monitor pipeline and performance.
