Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound freight, coordinate domestic and international carriers, and ensure compliant, on-time delivery of materials to Airbus production facilities.

The role requires experience with hazardous material shipping, ITAR awareness, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office. On-site duties include collaboration with 3PL, engineering, and QA teams and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in business, logistics or supply chain management, or 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with hazardous material shipping (IATA/IMDG/DOT) and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with ITAR and international import/export shipping requirements.
• Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of production materials with 3PL, engineering, QA, traffic and warehousing to ensure efficient production material movement.
• Coordinate domestic and international carrier schedules to support inbound and outbound shipments.
• Provide routing options for inbound/outbound shipments at favorable pricing.
• Communicate with carriers to tender loads, resolve delivery issues and investigate failures.
• Process shipments using Airbus routing guides and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
• Provide customers with delivery status and maintain documentation of all inventory movements.
