Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a General Manager to oversee operations, safety, budgeting, and continuous improvement at the Pflugerville site. This leadership role interfaces with clients, negotiates contracts, and drives Lean and Six Sigma initiatives while aligning with corporate mission and values.

The GM will develop marketing plans, grow new business, and ensure ISO compliance across the operation, with responsibility for the P&L and overall performance for the designated site.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Budgeting and P&L management experience required.
• At least 3 years of experience in an operations management related position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower, recruitment, retention, and development for the operation.
• Ensure procedures exist to guarantee client service, productivity, and maintenance of facilities/equipment.
• Set goals for continuous improvement and Lean initiatives at the site.
