Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Pflugerville, TX seeks a General Manager to lead site operations, drive LEAN practices, and ensure financial and client-satisfaction targets are met. You will oversee manpower, safety, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives while aligning with corporate mission.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting know-how, and experience in logistics/operations management to develop plans, mentor staff, and grow business with clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Budgeting and P&L management experience required.
• At least 3 years of experience in an operations management position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower planning, recruiting, retention and development for the operation.
• Set goals and drive continuous improvement, productivity and safety.
• Manage budgets, cost controls and profit targets for the site.
• Act as client relationship champion and lead KPI reviews with stakeholders.
• Lead safety programs, compliance with OSHA/DOT and regulatory standards.
