Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a General Manager of Operations in Fort Worth to lead strategic direction, operations, compliance and financial results for a designated facility. Qualifications

• Basic understanding of WMS and lean practices are preferred.
• Experience in budgeting and P&L management is required.
• Minimum 3 years in an operations leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower, recruiting, retention and development at the operation.
• Ensure client service, productivity and facilities maintenance procedures.
• Set goals for continuous improvement at the site.
• Maintain site safety programs and compliance with OSHA/DOT standards.
• Develop plans for automation/technology and monitor KPI performance.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budget with leadership.
• Lead client relationship activities and conduct business reviews.
