Job summary

Novo Nordisk USA is seeking a senior logistics leader to oversee supplier performance, cost control, and capacity planning across external warehouses. You will drive global logistics initiatives, harmonize processes, and manage escalation to preserve operational flow.

You will lead stakeholder relationships, manage budgets, and implement change projects while ensuring compliance with GxP and legal requirements. A strong data-driven mindset and collaboration across management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least four years of logistics experience with external warehouses (3PLs) in a regulated environment.
• Alternate pathway: Associate degree with six years of logistics experience in a regulated environment.
• Logistics management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated scenario planning experience.
• Strong quality mindset and capability to drive lean, data-driven projects.
• Collaborative across all management levels; Lean/Six Sigma training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own outside warehouse relationships and accountability for external operations.
• Develop annual budgets and monitor costs, reporting deviations to leaders.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and drive utilization improvements.
• Manage complex change projects including capacity extensions and compliance work.
• Drive supplier initiatives and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
• Promote cost optimization and harmonization across warehouses.
• Oversee outsourcing to Global Business Services and clarify roles.
• Lead data-driven improvement initiatives and translate insights into actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business insights into cost impacts.
• Participate in governance meetings and align warehouse ops with changing needs.
• Review Internal Agreements and monitor capacity challenges.
• Prepare scenario analyses with pros/cons and cost implications.
• Tackle complex issues with many stakeholders and maintain high-quality standards.
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
