Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a Logistics Subject Matter Expert for Global Logistics & Distribution US (GL&D-US), focusing on external warehousing operations and cross‑functional interfaces. You will set direction, drive improvements, and ensure compliant, efficient warehouse execution with 4PL partners and freight forwarders.

The role emphasizes data‑driven process optimization, complex issue resolution, audit readiness, and collaboration with Quality, Planners and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, Logistics or related field; minimum 2 years of regulated logistics experience.
• Associate Degree with 4 years of relevant logistics experience in a regulated environment may be considered.
• Experience with external warehouses, 3PL/4PL partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a logistics process advocate coordinating priorities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Sets direction for alignment of processes with external and internal warehouses and teams.
• Drives stakeholder management with regular meetings and feedback to improve processes.
• Coordinates shipments with 4PL partner, external warehouses and freight forwarders; escalates issues.
• Drives data-based improvements and sustainable changes to warehouse workflows.
• Handles complex logistics, deviations and quality issues; evaluates alternatives.
• Supports audit readiness and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
• Drives efficiency across distribution and warehouse workflows.
• Provides guidance to colleagues within own area.
• Follows all safety and environmental requirements.
