Novo Nordisk is seeking a senior logistics professional to oversee supplier performance, cost control and capacity planning across multiple external warehouses in Clayton, NC. You will drive global logistics initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships and lead data-driven improvement projects to optimize costs and operational flow.

The role demands strong leadership, budgeting, change management and a proven track record in regulated pharmaceutical logistics.

Competenze

• BS degree plus 4 years external warehouse logistics experience in a regulated environment.
• Alternate: AS degree with 6 years 3PL logistics experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability in scenario planning, cost and budget awareness.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing logistics preferred.

Mansioni

• Own supplier relationships and accountability for external warehouse operations.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor monthly costs and report deviations to senior management.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and drive utilization improvements when constraints arise.
• Manage execution of complex change projects, including capacity extensions and compliance initiatives (GxP, legal requirements).
• Lead tactical supplier management initiatives and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
• Drive adoption of new ways of working, focusing on cost optimization and process harmonization across warehouses.
• Oversee outsourcing initiatives to Global Business Services (GBS) and clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Lead data-driven improvement initiatives and translate insights into cost and budget implications.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to capture business insights and translate them into cost implications.
• Participate in regular stakeholder meetings and align warehouse operations with changing business needs.
