Job summary

Programmers.io in Memphis, TN, is seeking an experienced IT support professional to provide frontline end-user and logistics IT services across PC hardware, printers, scanners, and SAP applications within a global logistics operation.

You will collaborate with Helpdesk, remote infrastructure teams, and application teams to minimize downtime, coordinate incident resolution, and participate in process improvements across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ work experience in a global IT organization.
• Experience supporting a logistics operation including infrastructure (PCs, printers, scanners, networks) and applications (SAP).
• Experience working with Office 365 tools (Office, Teams, Delve, etc.).
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across IT environment collaborating with IT Helpdesk, remote infrastructure support teams and applications teams.
• Front line support for logistics center and 3rd party logistics team outsourced by the client.
• Resolve IT service issues with minimal business impact and to customers.
• Drive problem management with IT teams and partners to eliminate recurring incidents.
• Participate in global initiatives to improve Logistics IT support and processes.
• Coordinate risk assessments with IT Risk Management and Security for unique logistics applications/hardware.
• Engage business and IT owners to ensure issues are resolved and changes rolled out across client sites.
