Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Walton, KY, is seeking a General Manager to lead operations, strategy, and financial performance for a designated facility. The role champions Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO initiatives, vendor relations, budgeting, and client growth.

You will interact with senior leadership, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and mentor the site team to meet corporate objectives and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in logistics/distribution/supply chain environment in operations management capacity.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate

Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic direction, operation, compliance, and financial results for a designated operation.
• Lead continuous improvement activities including LEAN, Six Sigma, and ISO initiatives.
• Develop marketing plans and assist in growing new business.
• Ensure the operation adheres to corporate mission, vision and core values.
• Manage budgets and pricing in a multi-client environment.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and coordinate business reviews.
