Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our US Operations team in New York. You will coordinate transportation, manufacturing, and materials to and from vendors, ensuring stock is available and CSR documentation is maintained.

You will support inbound/outbound transportation, warehousing, and order processing. The role requires 1–2 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
• Experience with order management and customer service.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation, manufacturing, and materials to and from vendors.
• Ensure vendors have adequate material stock and enforce CSR documentation.
• Assist in managing transportation partners and daily inbound/outbound shipping.
• Support warehousing, distribution, order processing, logistics, and ASN enforcement.
• Interact with multiple departments and external warehousing partners daily.
• Develop and coordinate strategic/vendor relationships globally.
• Collaborate with Logistics Manager for timely deliveries to fulfillment centers.
• Schedule and track shipments using Monday.com; report progress.
• Procure new supplies and negotiate bulk discounts with vendors.
• Schedule deliveries to vendors to minimize production delays.
• Maintain proper inventory of company supplies for vendors and tour dept.
• Audit warehouse orders and stock levels; ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and report on quality KPIs; monitor vendor charges.
