Rhodes Wolfe is seeking a Business Development Manager in Carlsbad, CA, a hybrid role focused on international logistics. You will develop new opportunities and grow existing accounts within container export freight, reporting to the President and collaborating with internal teams.

You will negotiate pricing and service agreements, monitor market trends, and maintain strong client relationships to meet quarterly sales and gross profit goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in international logistics required.
• Strong knowledge of container export freight markets required.
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit targets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business opportunities within the container export freight market.
• Manage and expand relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and transportation solutions with clients.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate internally to support customer needs and issue resolution.
• Maintain responsive communication and long-term relationships with customers.
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales and gross profit performance goals.
• Use internal systems and reporting tools to manage pipeline activity.
