We seek a Business Development Manager to lead strategic sales and global initiatives, handling RFQs, and building long-term partnerships with multinational corporations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The role emphasizes delivering integrated logistics solutions including port processing, vehicle processing, land transportation, and consolidation, while developing new vertical opportunities such as

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other database systems.
• Experience in Logistics/Transportation Industries.
• Independent performer with self-generated network and conversions from cold calling.
• General understanding of supply chain management and the logistics industry.
• Ability to establish business proposals and pursue new business developments/projects.
• Experience in RFP/RFQ submissions processes.
• Understanding of Cost, Revenue and Margin concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies and customer solutions to support business development.
• Respond to RFQs with competitive, client-specific solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Legal, IT to ensure onboarding and execution.
• Build long-term relationships with high-potential customers and ensure retention.
• Lead onboarding including SOP development, billing setup, and system integration.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and compliance to meet service delivery expectations.
• Provide market intelligence on industry trends, demand, and pricing benchmarks.
• Maintain sales pipeline data and report on performance, risks, and forecasts.
• Develop joint plans with strategic clients for long-term growth.
• Represent Glovis in client visits and industry events.
