Qualifications

• Strong experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, import/export, or global supply chain.
• Demonstrated success operating within a high-volume logistics or freight environment.
• Hands-on experience coordinating ocean and/or air freight.
• Strong customer-facing experience managing accounts, key customers, or client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer accounts throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Manage customer relationships and expectations within a high-volume international shipping environment.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including ocean and air freight.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and manage delays, exceptions, and customer escalations through resolution.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, vendors, overseas partners, and internal teams.
• Coordinate multiple customer projects and shipment requirements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service levels.
• Lead, support, and develop a small customer experience team of 2-3 employees.
• Oversee import/export documentation and customs-related requirements.
• Develop and maintain customer-specific processes, procedures, and SOPs.
• Monitor shipment and account performance and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure customer requirements, project timelines, and delivery expectations are met.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships while serving as a knowledgeable and solutions-oriented logistics partner.
