Job summary

BTX Global Logistics in the San Diego area seeks an International Logistics Account Manager to orchestrate complex international shipments and client partnerships. You will ensure compliance, accurate documentation, and cost-effective routing from booking to delivery.

This role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and proactive client support, with on-call rotation and growth opportunities within a collaborative logistics team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required; 2–3 years of logistics/freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of import/export compliance and trade regulations; HAZMAT/TSA certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and manage complex international shipments (air, ocean, intermodal).
• Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in BTX Ship and Google Docs.
• Maintain ISF compliance and daily updates to clients and internal teams.
• Proactively communicate with agents, carriers, and clients from origin to destination.
• Support invoicing within 7–10 days of delivery and verify costs are accurate as quoted.
• Train and assist teammates; participate in on-call/overnight rotation as needed.
