Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics seeks an Account Manager to oversee import/export brokerage and freight forwarding for assigned customers. You will coordinate shipments end-to-end, from inquiry through delivery, and work with internal and external teams to optimize rates, times, and service levels.

The role requires 3-5 years in logistics, strong communication, and the ability to interpret regulations. A driving license and confidentiality are emphasized in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College Degree in related field.
• 3-5 years industry experience required.
• Strong time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export brokerage and freight forwarding needs from start to finish.
• Analyze shipping options and recommend based on price, transit time, routing and customer requirements.
• Monitor loading, departure, transit, arrival and delivery; problem-solve regulatory issues.
• Prepare documents for U.S. Customs and other government agencies for proper release and duty payment.
