Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is partnering with an established organization to identify a Customer Experience Manager in Riverside, Maryland. This onsite role will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating complex domestic and international transportation activities and leading customer implementations.

The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship skills with logistics, supply chain, transportation, import/export, or freight operations experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer success, account management, import/export, or related operations.
• Experience supporting domestic and international transportation activities.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience resolving customer issues and driving initiatives through completion.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with ERP, TMS, CRM, or other business systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts and ongoing initiatives
• Manage customer communications, shipment updates, and issue resolution activities
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution of customer requirements
• Support domestic and international transportation activities across multiple modes
• Monitor project timelines, service expectations, and customer deliverables
• Lead customer implementations, process improvements, and special projects that may span several weeks or months
• Develop strong relationships while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Identify and resolve operational challenges in a fast-paced environment
