Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Head of KYC within Central Compliance. You will own the global strategy, policy, and program execution for KYC across all Coinbase regulated entities.

The KYC function acts as a shared services model, advising across lines and jurisdictions to scale the program while meeting evolving global regulations. You will lead a team of KYC professionals, drive program design, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to balance regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing, designing, and implementing KYC programs at a financial institution.
• Direct people management experience, preferably with digital assets/fintech exposure.
• Experience serving as senior escalation point for KYC/onboarding matters.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategic direction of Coinbase's Global KYC program across regulated entities.
• Lead a team of KYC professionals and ensure consistent execution across jurisdictions.
• Drive global KYC issue management, corrective actions, and program enhancements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance to design KYC initiatives for new launches.
• Serve as DRI for regulatory reporting and provide KPI-based executive reporting.
• Shape interpretation of global KYC requirements and design scalable, compliant solutions.
