Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Manager, Head of KYC within Central Compliance to lead the global strategy, policy, and program execution for KYC across all Coinbase entities. You will manage a team of KYC professionals and partner with operations, product, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant KYC design across jurisdictions.

As a senior escalation point, you will provide regulatory guidance, drive program design, and deliver executive-level KPI reporting to ensure the KYC

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing, designing, and implementing KYC programs at a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategic direction of Coinbase's Global KYC program across all regulated entities.
• Lead a team of KYC professionals, set performance standards, and ensure consistent execution across jurisdictions.
• Drive KYC issue management, oversee corrective actions and enhancements, and report program health to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and legal teams to design KYC initiatives for new product launches and jurisdictions.
• Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for regulatory reporting and correspondence related to global KYC inquiries.
• Shape interpretation and implementation of global KYC requirements in collaboration with Legal and Compliance, designing scalable solutions.
