Job summary

SGS is a global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification services seeking an Onsite Account Manager in the United States. You will drive revenue growth within assigned global accounts, coordinate with SGS affiliates, and maintain strong relationships with client executives.

You will develop account strategies, manage contracts, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver value while ensuring adherence to timelines and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Educational background in Analytical Sciences, Engineering or Business relevant education.
• 5 years experience in account management or related roles with a successful track record.
• Minimum 2 years experience in industry for the relevant business unit (Softlines).
• Experience in international / multi-cultural environments.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a global account strategy and translate it into action plans.
• Serve as the initial client contact and coordinate orders, inquiries and exchanges.
• Maximize revenue by networking with decision-makers within the account.
• Attend meetings for marketing, business development, governance, reviews and invoicing.
• Monitor communications and ensure compliance with account requirements.
