Job summary

Lonza in Morristown, NJ seeks an IT Infrastructure Operations Sr. Manager to lead global infrastructure health, performance, and continuous improvement across sites worldwide. You will orchestrate MSP partners, drive incident response, and ensure compliant, scalable services supporting commercial, R&D, and manufacturing operations.

The role requires a strong track record in regulated environments, vendor management, and executive reporting with a hybrid work model and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading global infrastructure operations within regulated industries is required.
• Experience managing global managed service providers such as TCS or equivalent enterprise service partners.
• Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-time-zone leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead global managed service providers responsible for infrastructure operations, monitoring, endpoint support, network services, and cloud operations.
• Own day-to-day operational performance, service delivery, governance, and vendor accountability across global infrastructure environments.
• Drive operational excellence through KPI management, scorecards, service reviews, vendor performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure stable operation of critical infrastructure services including cloud platforms, datacenter, Microsoft 365, identity services, and backup/disaster recovery.
• Lead major incident response, problem management, change management, and ITIL-aligned service restoration.
