Job summary
Thorlabs is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead global IT Engineering and local IT Service Management teams. The role directs incident, change, and disaster recovery while aligning with global standards and business priorities.
Location is Newton, NJ with possible travel to other sites. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in enterprise IT, 5+ years in cloud design/deployment, and a track record in multi-site global delivery, governance, and vendor management.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure and IT operations, including leadership.
- 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-class cloud systems (Azure/AWS/Google).
- Experience leading global, multi-site IT delivery models.
Responsibilities
- Lead global IT Engineering and local IT Service Management teams to ensure reliable operations.
- Define and execute IT service and infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor service levels, KPIs, and incident management across global infrastructure.
