Job summary

EchoStar is seeking an Intercompany & GL Accountant to manage multi-entity transactions, streamline month-end closes, and maintain accurate global ledgers across currencies.

You will partner with AP, AR, Tax, Treasury and Legal to investigate variances, apply US GAAP, and leverage AI tools to automate data interpretation and accelerate close timelines; requires a BA in Accounting and 1–3 years' experience, CPA eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience with full-cycle GL operations.
• Experience with multi-currency intercompany accounting and consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to investigate variances and provide actionable solutions.
• Familiarity with modern automation/data tools in accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage end-to-end global intercompany accounting across entities.
• Audit GL workflows and implement process improvements or automation.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Operations, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to resolve discrepancies.
• Leverage AI tools to analyze large datasets and streamline variance analysis.
