Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a Staff Accountant II, Consolidations and Special Projects, based at the Meridian office in Englewood, CO. The role supports EchoStar’s global consolidation process through month-end and quarter-end close activities, intercompany reconciliations, and equity accounting support.

You will work with Accounting leadership, Finance, Tax, and Treasury on technical close deliverables, process improvements, and special projects related to M&A integrations and new entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with consolidations/intercompany accounting.
• Experience with ERP/GL systems and large data sets.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support global month-end and quarter-end consolidation processes.
• Prepare elimination entries and intercompany eliminations.
• Perform account reconciliations and close-related adjustments.
• Analyze consolidated trial balance activity and entity results.
• Contribute to special projects such as M&A integrations and process improvements.
• Provide audit documentation and ensure timely close deliverables.
