Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an Account Executive, Global to manage profitability and growth of an assigned book of business in the United States. You will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business, and collaborate with internal partners to craft sales plans.

Travel for in-person meetings is required. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of underwriting experience in commercial lines, and strong negotiation and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Knowledge of commercial lines products, regulatory environment, and local market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with agents and brokers.
• CPCU designation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and cross-sell opportunities.
• Meet with agents/brokers in person to market Travelers products and write/retain accounts.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative sales skills.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans and regional strategies.
