Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of successful new build infrastructure and expansion/retrofit projects in our Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability (GEMS) Organization. This role leads a team of support personnel and coordinates resources to hit timelines, stay within budget, and standardize across the network.

The position manages medium to large capital projects with significant schedule commitments and will lead multiple vendors

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years defining and implementing process improvements using data & metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL knowledge.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience in Construction or related field with budgets, scheduling and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing programs, delivering difficult projects across multiple organizations.
• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, and milestones.
• Own program communication and accelerate progress by clearing blockers and escalating as needed.
• Influence design and development of strategic processes.
• Communicate with business leaders to impact critical initiatives.
• Develop and govern execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and admin functions.
• Provide accountability with status reporting and proactive escalation.
• Maintain overall project schedule aligned with milestones and Go-Live.
